Kat McMahan is an operations, program management and immersive storytelling expert. By day, she works as the Senior Program Manager of strategy and operations in the LinkedIn Newsroom and runs Barkstone, an Airbnb just off the Appalachian Trail that was built in 1759.

In her spare time, Kat is the Executive Producer of Operations for BBQ Films, an Emmy nominated event production company that creates immersive experiences based on beloved stories from film and television. They have produced everything from an ECoin Launch Party for Mr Robot, to a night of guided debauchery with Terry Keiser for Weekend At Bernie’s, to taking people back in time to the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance for Back To The Future.
